Brandon Leroy  Powell
Brandon Leroy Powell, a resident of Estacada, Oregon, died on Saturday, April 29, 2017 in Estacada. He was 18 years of age.

Brandon was born on June 16, 1998 in Sacramento, California. As a young child, he moved to Sandy, Oregon where he attended grade school, middle school and his Freshman year of High School. He graduated from Wilsonville High School in 2016 and was attending Clackamas Community College where he was working towards his Business Degree.

Brandon enjoyed sports. He played football at both Sandy High School and at Wilsonville High School. He was on the track team for Clackamas Community College and had plans for trying out for football in the fall. He also enjoyed playing video games, all sports, anything outdoors and being around his friends. He was honest and brave; true to himself and those around him. He was also a soft-spoken soul with a contagious smile that would warm your heart and light up the room. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Brandon is survived by his mom and step-father, Esther Thompson and Ricc Paschal, his dad, Donald Powell, sister Tori Clark, brother, Isaac Powell, step-sisters, Cheyenne Paschal, Keira Paschal and Ireland Paschal, step-brothers, Gage Paschal and Sir Paschal, Grandmother, Janet Curtis, aunt,Jeannae Cuda and his uncles, Keagan Thompson and Alex Curtis along with his good friends and mentors, Ted “Grandpa” Giannoni and his wife Linda and Ted's daughter, Melissa Graham. He is also survived by many teammates, school mates and friends.

A celebration of Brandon’s life will be on June 15, 2017 from 6-8 pm at Milo McIver State Park Alder Picnic Area in Estacada. Donelson Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
