Fredrick Vernon  Waterman

Fredrick Vernon Waterman was born on December 8, 1941 in Hillsboro, Oregon to Viola (Luttrel) and Vernon Waterman. He was raised by his mother and stepfather, Andy Anderson. He attended Hillsboro High School. Fred married Carol Ewing on May 4, 1963 in her parents' home in Dilley. The newlyweds settled in Hillsboro, Oregon for a brief time before relocating to Forest Grove. Their son, Michael, was born on July 10, 1965.

Fred worked several jobs, including making cabinets for Aloha Trailers, before settling in as a cabinet maker for Rogers Organ. Fred retired from Rodgers Organ after working there for 31 years.

Fred enjoyed spending time with his family, trips to the coast, watching westerns on tv, working in the yard, playing with his cat, Ash, and was always up for an adventure. He loved going out to eat, especially for hamburgers at McDonalds or Red Robin.

Fred passed away on November 17, 2017. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol; parents, Viola and Andy; and his sister, Naomi. Fred is survived by his son, Mike; daughter in-law, Charless; grandchildren Nikki, Robert, Mandy, and Charlene; brothers, Jimmy and David (Shelby); sister, Edie (Lester); as well as his great grandchildren, brother in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
